Seven weeks ago now, we received the news that even here in the Neukolonie Horizonte, we would not be spared the consequences of the coronavirus! The school is closing! And our daily lives are changing...
As we were no longer able to carry on with our normal school routine, we reorganised our schedule, set homework for the children and helped out where needed. To this end, we visited individual families or invited groups of children to our home to work through their schoolwork together with them.
We were able to carry on with the other activities that usually keep us busy in the afternoons or evenings just as before. These include discipleship courses and piano lessons.
We also now had more time to nurture the fellowship here amongst the families and to visit them.
