The young Sommerfeld congregation began its missionary work immediately after the consecration of the new church. A marquee with 200 seats was erected in the immediate vicinity of the Mennonite villages, and the Gospel was preached over five evenings. The programme is accompanied by various singing groups from the congregations, who perform hymns and share testimonies. The entire programme is broadcast live on the radio. There are probably more radio listeners than visitors in the marquee who are hearing the Good News.
