Last week, a number of events and training sessions took place with Viktor Sawatzki. Radio staff came together and learnt a great deal about the importance and challenges of working with the media. One Saturday, sound engineers from various churches in Horizonte gathered and learnt the art of adjusting microphones correctly so that listeners can understand the messages more clearly.
Almost every evening, Viktor Sawatzki spoke about her work in Ukraine, close to the war zone, and how they provided aid to people in need there. This met with particular interest.
