For about two years now, a small group of believers has been gathering at Arche, with the aim of forming a congregation from the very beginning. Now the time is almost at hand for the congregation to be established. Last Sunday, the believers (see picture) shared testimonies of how they came to a living faith in Jesus Christ. In the meantime, they are hard at work building their own meeting house. Simple and unpretentious, as is often the case in Bolivia, a building is taking shape that will serve both as a regular school and as a place of worship. The joy of such a young congregation at every step in the spiritual building up of the congregation and the construction of the meeting place is simply infectious. In about two to three months, the building is due to be dedicated and the congregation established. Here at the Bible Centre, we rejoice wholeheartedly with our brothers and sisters, though this will also leave a certain amount of empty space on our premises. At the moment, the congregation gathers in our rooms for services, prayer and Bible study sessions, youth meetings, and so on.
Glory to the Lord, who is unstoppably building up his church and his kingdom.
