Together with the Transchaco Mission, we distributed Bible booklets in Santa Cruz. The mission was founded by Mennonites from Paraguay, and schoolchildren are particularly close to their hearts. We searched for schools in a region of Santa Cruz. Following a discussion with the headteacher, we were given permission to distribute Bible booklets to all the pupils. In the space of one morning, we handed out over 3,000 booklets, which the children took home with them, and we pray that they will read them and come to know the Lord Jesus.
A little later, through ‘Bolivienhilfe’, our hearts went out to the lorry drivers who have to endure long waiting times at the unloading points during the soya harvest. There were usually between 80 and 130 lorries in such a queue. All the drivers gladly accepted the Bible booklet containing an explanation of the Sermon on the Mount and the four steps to finding Jesus.
