The young congregation in Manitoba has begun building a parish hall. However, they encountered enormous resistance on the very first day. Over 60 men from neighbouring villages tried to prevent work from starting. As a result, the builders made only slow progress. On the second day, entire access roads were blocked by horse-drawn carriages and people. As a result, the helpers from Chihuahua and even their own brothers from Manitoba were unable to reach the building site. The enemy of God does not like it when vibrant churches spring up that proclaim the Word of God and where people come to a living faith.
Nevertheless, the brothers and sisters in Manitoba remain confident that the storm will subside and that the building work will continue.

- That the young, faithful brothers and sisters may not lose heart
- That the opponents may have their eyes opened and become divided amongst themselves in their godless schemes
- A short evangelistic campaign is planned in the Sommerfeld church from 27 to 30 June. Pray for a good turnout and conversions
- A major evangelistic campaign with Beat Abry will begin on 7 July in Chihuahua and Morgenland. Pray for conversions and wisdom in pastoral care
