As part of the Association of Congregations in Bolivia, a youth day is organised every year. This year, the Hohenau congregation hosted the event.
Around 250 guests travelled from all over to attend this afternoon event on 11 March (starting at 2.00 pm). The first ones had already set off at 7.00 am to ensure they arrived on time. The church could scarcely believe the number of young people present. The youth group has grown significantly in recent years.
It turned out to be a blessed day, despite some initial difficulties. The day before, unknown individuals had stolen the microphone system from the church. However, the necessary equipment was brought in from the neighbouring congregation, thus saving the day. Sermons on the theme of following Jesus, presentations by youth groups, a shared meal and a game of volleyball afterwards made for a memorable day. Glory to God for his work amongst the young people!
