On 16 August, a new church was consecrated in Morgenland. The congregation in Morgenland has grown in recent years and the premises previously used had become too small for the services. In addition, the school needed more space. Now that the new house of worship has been consecrated, the former meeting room is being converted into classrooms.
At the dedication on Sunday afternoon, so many visitors joined the congregation that the room was completely full and some had to sit in the corridor. Amidst prayer and praise to God, the new building was dedicated to its purpose. The service featured a sermon, choral singing, contributions and greetings. It was an exciting occasion for the congregation. Everyone rejoiced and gave glory to God. The day was richly blessed.
