Once every two months, all staff members of Bolivienhilfe gather for a staff conference. The aim is edification, times of prayer, fellowship and discussion about the work.
At the last conference, the main topic for Bible study was the passage from Luke 10:1–12. This passage deals with the great harvest and the few labourers. It was a very blessed time of sharing. Our conclusion was: Jesus’ statement still holds true. Doors are opening for the Gospel, and there is a great shortage of workers. Some questions also remained unanswered, such as: ‘Why do so many Christians read and understand this passage yet still do not feel called to missionary work?’ Our concern is that somewhere, someone is disobedient and is not heeding God’s call!
