This year, we staff members spent our holiday in Samaipata. It is a beautiful place in the mountains with a climate quite different from that of Santa Cruz, and offers plenty of opportunities for walks in the mountains.
There is also a famous Inca ruin site here, the Samaipata Fortress. This is situated on a mountain at an altitude of 1,950 metres above sea level.
The Bible passage that accompanied us throughout the retreat is found in 1 Peter 1. And in the afternoons, we enjoyed fun outdoor games. The time was very restful for all of us and a blessing as we spent time together in fellowship.
