Together with all our staff, we went on a staff retreat from 31 March to 3 April to the beautiful mountain town of Samaipata. On the way, we were held up for about five hours due to a roadblock, but we still enjoyed our time together and sang lots of songs. As it was the Easter season, our Bible studies and worship services focused on Jesus’ humility, suffering and death on the cross, through which all who accept salvation can now live in eternal fellowship with God. What a blessing!
We also went on a few excursions into God’s breathtaking creation and marvelled at the beauty that unfolded before us.
On the way back from the retreat, we got caught in a traffic jam again, but this time we didn’t have to wait quite as long. Even though many things turned out differently from what we’d originally planned, we experienced some very special, uplifting days with our brothers and sisters in Christ and can only praise God for it!
