The Giesbrecht family are taking up their ministry in Horizonte for the foreseeable future. Anna works as a schoolteacher at the school. Rebekka and Andreas also attend school. My (Peter’s) first task is to establish church leadership. Added to this is everything else that goes with it: home visits, pastoral care, church services and the rest of the church programme, guitar lessons for the young people, etc.
Construction is also progressing slowly. All our members are farmers and depend on their harvests. This, in turn, determines the level of donations we receive. We are still a little short of funds to plaster the walls and lay the floor in the worship room. We have already considered that the building can still be consecrated even without windows. Please pray that we may succeed in consecrating the building before the end of May.
