Hello, my name is Lukas Pankratz. I am 18 years old and have been working as a learning support assistant at Morgenland Campo 7 for almost a year.
Not much has happened in my short life so far. I was fortunate to grow up in a Christian family and church, and to commit my life to Christ at the age of 12.
As I finished school in the summer of 2022, I began thinking about my future a year in advance. Right from the start, I had a desire to serve God abroad for a year. After much prayer and discussion, this desire had become a firm resolve. It was very important to me to know what I would do after this year, and God also provided me with a training place, starting in 2023, shortly before I left.
My main role is teaching German to Years 7–12 and maths to Years 4 and 5. Alongside this, I’m also very involved with the youth group and the church. In all my tasks, it’s very important to me that others can see my Lord Jesus in me and that I can be a blessing to them as a result.
I am grateful for every prayer and every act of praise to God.
